Sripada srivallabha is a first incarnation of Lord dattatreya in kaliyuga .He was born in pithapuram situated in the Godavari Region of Andhra Pradesh as sripada srivallabha .Who was chanting this mantra Digambara Digambara Sripadavallabha Digambara they will get Grace of sripada srivallabha and full fil all dharma desires . There lived a Brahmin named Shivsharma in Kuravpur. He was “vidwan” and a “yajurvediya” Brahmin. He was unhappy because the moment Shivsharama and his wife enjoyed the happiness of having a child the other moment the happiness was gone because the child did not survive. This happened thrice. Somehow a child was born to them and he survived. But the child was born halfwitted. His grasping power was too less. Shivsharma always dreamt of having a child with immense knowledge and oratory skills. But that seemed just impossible for him now.

One day after his puja and his chant for Shripad Prabhu he was standing still infront of Shripad Prabhu. Shripad Prabhu smiled and said “Shivsharma! I am a “Das” to all those people who forget all their worries and remember me. Tell me what is your problem”. Shivsharma narrates his worries of having a brilliant child.

Shripad Prabhu says “Baba! What matters is past life karma to one and to all. Nature works as per this rule itself. We all receive the fruits of our karma. Good or bad. For example, While donating, the person who donates and the one who receives are equally important. Both have their own share of “paap” and “punya” which is passed on to each other in between them. So one should donate without being selfish or for one’s own good. Only then he will be getting the true fruit of donating. You have received such a child because of your past life karma. You get only that for which you pray to GOD. For your child to be a “vidwan” first you need to get rid of all your “paap karmas”. Only then can I make him a “vidwan”. Shivsharma said, “Swami! I am ready to eradicate all the effects of paap karmas and attain enlightment.”

After a few days Shivsharma dies. After his death his child was teased by people around him. They started calling him dumb. This frustration led him to decide of committing a suicide. He started running towards the river and behind him his mother. Shripad Prabhu stopped him in way and made him a “vidwan” and then blessed him. Shivsharma’s wife gained the importance of chanting and praising the GOD. She was blessed with “vidwan child” for her next life.

So again it brings me to the great “leela” of Shripad Prabhu. For all those who are worried, leading a sad life, and unhappy. Here’s someone named SHRIPAD PRABHU ready to be a savior and a friend.
